Living in Asquith
Asquith is a suburb of northern Sydney, located 26 km north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Hornsby Shire. Geographically, the suburb encompasses a section of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park on its eastern side.
History
Asquith was named in 1915 after the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Herbert Henry Asquith, Earl of Oxford and Asquith, and much of the suburb’s development began after this date.

A 35 minute drive from Sydney’s CBD, Asquith also enjoys good service from public transport with Asquith train station only one stop form Hornsby, which provides commuters with a quick link to the City. Buses operate a good service to local areas.
Shopping and Recreation
A small shopping area near Asquith Station provides locals with their daily essentials, and a short drive away is the shopping hub of Westfield Hornsby. Surrounding bush provides great tracks for walking, hiking and mountain biking, with a range of local clubs including golf, soccer, bowls and leagues offering more organised activities.
