Auction winning Techniques

The complexity of agent versus buyer in a very tense and even somewhat surreal situation can give any human being heart palpitations. I will attempt to calm down some of that anxiety with a few auction tips that could very well help you secure that next dream home, or investment property.

- The first tip is to do your research, set a limit and stick to it

- Place bids with authority so your competition doesn't know when you are reaching your limit.

- If the property gets passed in attempt to negotiate it directly afterwards rather than wait till the following week

- Don't be afraid to ask the auctioneer if the property has reached it's reserve

- Start the bidding off low and wait and see if the property comes on the market before you bid again
