Chiswick, NSW – 2046
Chiswick is a suburb in the inner-west region of Sydney, located 9 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Canada Bay. Chiswick sits on the peninsula between Abbotsford Bay and Five Dock Bay, on the Parramatta River.
History
Originally part of the Five Dock Farm, Chiswick was named after a large estate which was built there in the 1850s. The estate was named after the suburb on the Thames in London, England.

Shopping and Schools
The suburb is mainly residential, and besides a few small shops residents take the short journey into neighbouring Drummoyne or Five Dock. A great selection of schools can also be found in the local area and neighbouring suburbs.
