Lewisham, NSW – 2049
Lewisham is a suburb in the inner-west of Sydney, located 8 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Marrickville Council.
History
The suburb takes its name from the London borough of Lewisham in England, and was chosen by Joshua Frey Josephson as the name of his estate here in 1834.

Nearby Leichhardt is a great local shopping spot, and many sporting and recreational facilities can be found in the area.
