Marsfield is a suburb on the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, located 16 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Ryde.

History

Marsfield is derived from Field of Mars Common, which was the original name of the area in the early days of British colonisation of Australia.

Transport Links

Neighbouring suburb Epping has good rail links on the Northern Line of the CityRail network. The area is well served by buses.
