Naremburn, NSW – 2065
Naremburn is a suburb on the lower North Shore of Sydney, located 6 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Willoughby.
History
Naremburn was originally known as Central Township, and small grants of land have been settled in the area since 1853. Naremburn has grown and has evolved and been restored but buildings remain on some streets retaining original shopfronts.
Transport Links
The CBD is easily accessible via the Gore Hill freeway, and the suburb is well serviced to the city and Chatswood, both approximately 10 minutes away, with express bus services operating during peak hours. Chatswood train station connects all over Sydney and beyond.
Shopping
Naremburn’s main shopping area features a range of strip malls including many different types of shops and restaurants. The large shopping area of Chatswood and the boutiques of Crows Nest are only a few minutes away.
