Sydney Property Market Update October 2017

GET READY FOR A FAST MARKET TILL CHRISTMAS

Well I am now calling it! I'm saying that from here until Christmas it will be a busy market in certain areas because of horrible stock levels.

I have spoken to all the agents around Lower North Shore and Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs and Inner West and they are all reporting very low stock levels. We are finding a lot of off market properties at the moment so if you want to increase the hit rate in finding a new home, give us a call and jump onto our off market property database.

With low stock levels, prices will hold and even increase a little, so don't leave it too long to get into the market. I think this is the new market moving forward, which is lower stock levels but still plenty of buyers around.

PK'S SYDNEY PROPERTY MARKET PREDICTIONS

The market will be pretty strong right up until Christmas, so if you were one of those buyers waiting for all that property to come on in Spring in order to bag yourself a bargain, think again! It's all about supply and demand. Sure the market has softened through winter as it always does, but with low stock levels, this Spring the competition will be back with force.

PK'S HOT PROPERTY TIPS

If you are waiting to buy at present, please understand that over the next 8 weeks is when the majority of stock comes on. So start looking hard now and make a decision or you might miss out!
