Opportunity is knocking!
Well, here we go. Another year in Real Estate and two elections to deal with this year; one Federal, and one State. I don't have any solid auction figures to report on yet but will keep you updated further as the month progresses.
With Royal Commissions in banking, Federal and State elections, and a downturn in the market, I really do believe the uncertainty has created an opportunistic time to buy, probably the best I have seen in 5 years.
I am predicting the market will be a little all over the place up until the Federal election in May, but it's looking like people have seen the market come off enough to start dipping their toe in the water again.
I believe there are good opportunities out there at present, but I am tipping that these might not last, and by springtime this year I think we will be heading into the next cycle.
As I said above, when I gather some more data coming into February and March, I will report back to everyone with a more accurate feel on where this market is heading. But at present I say – buy!

I think the market is still fairly flat in general, but the 'A-Grade' stock is still selling quickly and I don't think that will change in the foreseeable future. So if you see something you like, it's time to buy.
