Asquith is a suburb of northern Sydney, located 26 km north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Hornsby Shire. Geographically, the suburb encompasses a section of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park on its eastern side.

History

Asquith was named in 1915 after the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Herbert Henry Asquith, Earl of Oxford and Asquith, and much of the suburb’s development began after this date.
