Beauty Point is an urban locality in the suburb of Mosman in Sydney, located in the local government area of the Municipality of Mosman and is part of the Lower North Shore.

History

Beauty Point takes its name from the piece of land protruding into the Middle Harbour, off Sydney Harbour. It was originally known as Billy Goat Point, but was renamed when it was subdivided to be sold.

The locality benefits from its close proximity to the many bus services and road links in Mosman, with the CBD just 8km away and also reachable by a ferry service.

Shopping, Recreation and Schools

The nearby Mosman shopping centre is located along Military Road, which features many boutiques, cafes and restaurants and is home to many fine homeware stores. The beautiful beach of Balmoral is a short distance away.
