WHAT IS A BUYER’S AGENT

Buyer's agents assist buyers through all phases of the property purchasing process. From locating the right property to determining its true market value, negotiating the best possible price, and bidding on your behalf at auction.

Buyer's agents have been standard practice for many years in the USA and Britain, and were introduced to Sydney back in 1997by Peter Kelaher director of PK Property.

Buyer's agents generally offer three types of services. The full service sees them search out properties meeting their client's criteria and also negotiate the purchase of the property ultimately chosen, whether by private sale or auction. Buyers may also engage buyer's agents purely to bid at auction, or value and negotiate a property they have found themselves.

Purchasing property is not something buyers are usually involved in on a regular basis. Many people are not experienced in negotiating property, and some are just too busy to give the necessary time to a successful property negotiation. The buyer's agent's service is extremely popular amongst expatriates and foreign investors, because it eradicates emotional impulse buying, misinformation and overpricing, that often arises when overseas buyers are dealing with sales agents.

Should you need the services of a Sydney Buyer's agent please phone Peter Kelaher direct on 0419200018.
