Ten things you should not do when buying a home

1. You decide to buy out of frustration because you are sick of House- Hunting.

2. Buying the home after just one inspection

3. Not showing your interest to the selling agent, and the home sells for less than you were going to offer without you knowing

4. Not inspecting a good number of homes and attending auctions for experience

5. Not doing your research on comparable properties sold in the immediate area.

6. Showing too much interest to the agent and revealing exactly what you would pay for it

7. Losing your correspondence with selling agents and therefore missing out on numerous opportunities

8. Having everyone ready to go, pest and building inspectors, your finance approved and solicitors ready to move quick should you find your dream home.

9. Trying to get an absolute bargain and missing out all together

10. Trying to negotiate a property when this is something that you do once every seven to ten years. Hire a professional buyer's agent to help you make the biggest purchase of your life
