PK’s Sydney Property Market Update March 2019

Stock levels are going to plummet

Well, get ready for it! With April pretty well written off due to school holidays, public holidays, and then the federal election in May, new listings won't come on till June and that's if people want to list in Winter.

Therefore, more buyers will be competing against each other due to low stock levels, which in turn will stabilise prices or increase them in some areas due to increased competition.

On another note, I have never in my 25 years of real estate seen the media consistently talk negatively for such a long period of time about the property market. This is where I see opportunity at present because as soon as they start talking positively around the market, everyone will jump back in and therefore there will be more competition, and then you have missed the opportunity to get a bargain.

PK's Property Market Predictions

For 'A Grade' and 'B Grade' property, the market has well and truly stabilised, but 'C Grade' property is still struggling and going down.

PK's Hot Property Tips

Stop trying to pick the bottom of the market, buyers! The froth has come off the coffee and now we are looking at the coffee. Get out there and buy some 'B Grade' and 'A Grade' properties.
